I also pitch in for Field Day, Book Fair, and
similar events when extra adults are needed.
- Girl Scouts. Includes Troop Coordinator for Cookies (1998-2005, the last for two troops) or Fall Products; co-leader for Cadette to Senior Troop 915, then Brownie Troop 1167, now all-age level Troop 1307; First Aid and CPR certified at various times; driver, etc.
See Girl Scout Thinking Day .
- Catholics, both at Southwestern University and at St. Helen's Catholic Church. Includes substitute catechist, retreat chaperone, etc. for first grade through high school.
- March of Dimes.
- Williamson County Crisis Center.
I recycle regularly, including toting cardboard to the Round Rock recycling facility.
I regularly donate items to the Caring Place in Georgetown.
I have planted trees at the Georgetown Playscape and in San Gabriel Park.
