HyperNEAT in MicroRTS

This page presents research in the microRTS domain done by undergraduate student Alice Quintanilla as part of Southwestern University's Summer research program SCOPE. The research makes use of the MM-NEAT software package (an extension of NEAT), which has been extended to include HyperNEAT.

Evolved State Evaluator Applying UCT vs. Random Biased AI

The blue agent in the upper-left is the built-in UCT agent using a neural network evolved by HyperNEAT as a state evaluator. The red agent in the lower-right is the built-in random biased agent, which is quickly defeated by the evolved agent.
