Visuality has its own discourse. It will make certain things visible in certain ways, other things unseen, and subjects will be produced in a certain field of vision. Street photography works to show a subject in a particular light. While it takes an everyday moment, it does not call for a cause of action, but rather, just a passing smile. It chooses to convey a feeling or emotion, a relationship to the subject.
